It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Eugene Thompson, a
beloved father, and grandfather. Bob, age 75, was a dedicated home repair contractor who
touched the lives of many with his impeccable workmanship and unwavering faith in God.
Bob will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his passion for building. He took great
pride in constructing his own home, a testament to his skill and determination. In addition to his
work, Bob enjoyed bike rides and spending quality time with his family, whom he cherished
above all else.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and hard work. His memory will forever be cherished
by his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing that he was truly loved and respected
by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Verstay, father Donald
Thompson, 3 siblings (Frank, Gerry, and Virginia) and daughter Thresa Palmer. He is survived
by daughter Robin Fettig (Jeremy), son Josiah Thompson (Shyanne), nine grandchildren, eight
great grandchildren, 5 siblings (Karen, Sandy, Marlene, Jim and Fred), and many nieces and
nephews.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held in his honor at 1:00 pm, Saturday April 20, 2024, at Voyage
Community Church 5440 Wilson Ave SW Wyoming, MI 49418. In lieu of flowers the family asks
